is building hope into the lives of children and their families in one of Charlotte's most
at-risk neighborhoods, Belmont/ Piedmont Courts.

| The program provides a safe haven

with caring adult supervision and instruction for neighborhood
children during critical after-school hours. Partners promotes academic success through classroom
work, tutoring and mentoring, and by encouraging the active participation of parents.

strengthening the community and serving as a model for future efforts to improve the lives of children
