Row of Happy Seigle Avenue Partners Kids
Building hope into the lives of children and their families in the Seigle Avenue and Belmont Community.

"Afterschool programs keep kids safe, help working families and improve academic achievement."
Afterschool Alliance, Washington, D.C.
Seigle Avenue Partners Out of School Time Program
is building hope into the lives of children and their families in one of Charlotte's most at-risk neighborhoods, Belmont/ Piedmont Courts.
The program provides a safe haven
with caring adult supervision and instruction for neighborhood children during critical after-school hours. Partners promotes academic success through classroom work, tutoring and mentoring, and by encouraging the active participation of parents.
We reach beyond our children
to foster healthy interaction within and among neighborhood families, strengthening the community and serving as a model for future efforts to improve the lives of children and families.
Partners' long-term goals
are strong families for a sustainable community and school success for all children - goals which will take many partners and many years to achieve. In pursuit of these goals, our short term focus is on parental involvement in their children's education, school attendance, and academic achievement.
